Hood zips on and off, has one inside pocket, pockets on outside are snaps, it fits nicely. I expected it to be a bit thicker as thick is used in the description. the string around the midsection I cut off immediately, seems very lively to get caught on things. I also cut the string off on the hood for the same reason. the patch om the right arm has a picture of a bird that looks like he just ate something disgusting he didn't enjoy lol I will probably replace it with something else because it looks very silly.
overall I am very satisfied with this purchase!

I discovered later that one of the pockets wasn’t completely sewn, but not a huge issue if you know basic sewing. Otherwise, satisfied with the thickness(keeps very warm) and material, and fits well. Pockets shown for comparison. Make sure you flip the hood zipper down to locking position or the hood zips off very easily.
